Aug. 4th, 2015 was a busy day. A big day musically, too. It’s somehow been 10 years to the day since we released No Worse for the Wear. A short album/long-EP…a collection of 7 songs showcasing our roots in 90s alternative rock/grunge, punk, and even a little emo.
We recorded 7 songs in 6 days. The time crunch was challenging, but the end product so fulfilling. We actually tracked music for a few more tunes, some of which didn’t make this record but did eventually end up on our Lost Year EP (Vagrants and What it’s Like to Lose). Many, many thanks to Mike Menocker and John Collura for helping bring this record to life.
I drove up back home to NJ, and spent the day of the release sitting in my parents’ kitchen, spreading the word that the record was out. We celebrated by seeing Deftones and Incubus later that night.
Even today I still get great feedback from people discovering it for the first time. Thank you to everyone who’s ever given it a listen!
